Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Quick Pigeon is committed to making quickpigeon.co.uk accessible to as many people as possible, including disabled users. We aim to provide an experience that works with assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and screen magnification.
Target standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.
We design with the following practices built in: semantic HTML, visible keyboard focus indicators (≥3:1 contrast), accessible colour pairs (≥4.5:1 for text, ≥3:1 for UI), minimum 44×44 px touch targets, prefers-reduced-motion respected, and ARIA labels on all interactive controls.
How accessible this site is
We believe most of this site meets WCAG 2.2 AA. We are aware of the following known limitations, which we are working to address:
- The anti-spam widget on the contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile) is a third-party component. We do not control its accessibility, and its behaviour with assistive technologies depends on Cloudflare. If it prevents you from sending an enquiry, email us directly at the address below.
- We have not yet completed screen-reader testing of this site. That testing is scheduled (see “How we test”) and this list will be updated with anything it finds.
Getting information in an alternative format
If you need information from this site in a different format (accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio, or braille), contact us at hello@quickpigeon.co.uk and we will consider your request and respond within 5 working days.
Reporting accessibility problems
We want to hear about accessibility barriers. If you find a problem not listed above, or believe we are not meeting the requirements, please email hello@quickpigeon.co.uk describing the issue and the page it is on. We will get back to you within 5 working days.
If you are not satisfied with our response
The Equality Act 2010 requires us to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people. If you are in Great Britain and unhappy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS). In Northern Ireland, contact the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.
How we test
We test this site using automated checks (axe) and keyboard-only navigation on each release, alongside manual review against WCAG 2.2 AA criteria. Accessibility is also reviewed when significant UI changes are made.
Screen-reader testing with VoiceOver on Safari is scheduled but has not yet been carried out. We will update this statement with the results once it is complete.
